The Team

THE FRDP TEAM

THE FRDP TEAM IS COMPRISED OF LESS THAN 30 MEMBERS REPRESENTING 15 COUNTRIES ON 5 CONTINENTS. ALL POSSESS VARIOUS FIRE AND RESCUE SPECIALIZATION SKILLS AND ARE MULTI-LINGUAL.

DUE TO ITS INTERNATIONAL MAKE-UP, SPECIALIZED TALENTS, UNIQUE EXPERIENCE AND THAT IT OPERATES AS A VERY SMALL, ELITE UNIT, FRDP IS SOMETIMES REFERRED TO AS THE “THE FOREIGN LEGION OF THE FIRE SERVICE”

ALL HAVE VAST INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE AND MANY HAVE SERVED WITH UNITED NATIONS FIRE RESCUE OPERATIONS. THE TEAM MEMBERS HAVE OPERATED IN: ALGERIA, ANGOLA, BOSNIA, CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC, CONGO, HAITI, KOSOVO, LEBANON, INDONESIA, IRAQ, JAPAN, MALAWI, MALI, MOZAMBIQUE, NAMIBIA, NEPAL, PAKISTAN, PHILIPPINES, SAMOA, SOMALIA, SOUTH AFRICA, SOUTH SUDAN, SUDAN, SYRIA, TURKEY, UGANDA, UKRAINE AND ZIMBABWE. THEY HAVE OPERATED AT INTERNATIONAL EMERGENCY RESCUE AND RELIEF OPERATIONS AT EARTHQUAKES AND TSUNAMIS AS WELL AS IN WARTIME CONDITIONS UNDER SNIPER FIRE AND ARTILLERY BOMBARDMENT IN ADDITION TO CONDUCTING SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS IN REORGANIZING FIRE AND EMERGENCY SERVICES AND TRAINING FIREFIGHTERS
