F.R.E.E. Project
(Fire Rescue Equipment Exchange)

The F.R.E.E. project was created to collect and utilize fire equipment and supplies that are no longer of use to fire services in developed countries, and redistribute that equipment in developing and war-torn countries.

Currently, firefighters in many nations are responding to emergencies and operating at fire scenes without protective fire gear. It is the mission of this project to make a significant change in the lives of those firefighters and the lives of the people they protect.

Thousands of firefighters in developing and war-torn countries are fighting fires in street clothes with no gloves, helmts or boots - even in countries where temperatures reach well below zero. These firefighters have no protection from the inherent risks of fighting a fire nor climatic conditions.

F.R.D.P. has assisted fire services around the world by providing personal protective eqyuipment (PPE) and other fire equipment and vehicles.

You can help this project either by donating used but utilizzable equipment or by donating funds to assist in the very expensive shipping costs which are the largest part of the FREE project's budget. FRDP is a non-profit orginization and therefore any contributions are tax-deductible. We all feel great when we help some stranger by saving their home, their belongings or their life. Here is a chance for all of us to help firefighters around the world.

You may be interested to know that when F.R.D.P. sends equipment to a fire service in need, F.R.D.P. instructors deliver the equipment and train the firefighters that are the recipients in the use of the equipment that has been provided.

If you can help in any way, please contact us. All liability issues have been addressed and F.R.D.P. will issue a liability waiver.
